Gumby

Gumby, the clay child of creator Art Clokey, was "born" in 1955. He made his career debut in 1956 on "The Howdy Doody Show". Shortly thereafter, Gumby stared in his own Saturday morning TV show, "The Gumby Show". There was an immediate reaction to the little green clayboy and his assortment of strange and wonderful friends. This love affair has continued for over 50 years now.
